The tubes help prevent the dirtying of lighter colours which happens in case of cake colours. The tubes are small and handy. In few tubes, some kind of oil came out for the first time but was ok after that. The packaging could have been sturdier. Can provide a mixing plate also.

The pigments are absolutely gorgeous. If you're thinking of using it for the very first time do use the 12 shades one first and then try this 24 shades. Unlike the other water colours which shows some other texture before and after using it on your respective paper or sheet, this Artist one doesn't do that.

Trust me i had never drawn using watercolors. These are my 1st paintings using watercolors.., i got it for 345, so quite affordable. I had been directed by a Mornington based artist about this monochrome paintings and i was surprised that each colour she said was available in my Camlin watercolor set of 24! Tbh i didn't expect that! I mean we are not using Winsor and Newtown like them; so proud of this Indian brand. Colours are very vibrant, especially when we use it on a good quality 300gsm paper! It has good shades. I wish there was 1 purple shade between so many similar shades. Example: Raw sienna and yellow ochre Prussian blue and camlin blue Special mention to Payne's grey. Excellent color. My favourite of the bunch. For 390/- bucks, there probably isnt a better product for beginners/intermediate artists. Although it definitely depends on who the artist is. "Anything is possible." Delivery was great, got it in <2 days. Good packaging, no damage. Overall. Very satisfied with amazon and the product. Thank you.

These are excellent colours. I was initially quite confused about what colours to buy and was looking to invest in someone of the expensive international ones. Then luckily I came across a youtube channel called ' Draw with Shiba' where the artist there uses these exact paints. His artwork was bright, colours are vibrant, final ride pictures don't look muddy or chalky. Immediately bought these paints and have not regretted the decision. The only issue I have so far is in re-wetting them after they have dried on the palette.
