Blades do not get stuck while chopping carrots. I could chop 4 to 5 vegetables one after the other, within less than a minute because it takes only about 5 to 6 pulls to chop each vegetable finely and evenly. With other choppers of this kind, I had to struggle for at least 10 minutes to chop same amount of vegetables and even after that some pieces would remain too big while others would become too tiny. Very very satisfied with this product's efficacy.

Pros:1) Plastic quality very good. 2) The top cover has screws which I think would probably be helpful to replace the string if needed, though I hope that doesn't happen too soon.Cons: 1) The little pillar at the bottom on which the blade sits is a tad bit short. For this the blade sometimes gets displaced while placing the vegetable pieces. A taller hinge would have hold the blades more firmly.Points to note:1) Be careful with very hard vegetables. I failed to chop a carrot which was pretty hard. The blades got halfway through the carrot pieces and got stuck. I was afraid to pull it too hard lest the string breaks. Works wonderfully though for onions, cabbage and leafy vegetables.2) One needs to chop the vegetables to a good extent before putting it inside this. May make you wonder what is the point! If I can cut an onion into four pieces I would rather do the rest with the knife. Why bother to use this. This is a valid point and I think many would probably stop using it once the "trying a new thing excitement" fades away and fall back to a knife. But for those special dishes where one really needs very finely chopped vegetables, this would be perfect. It chops so fine, which is almost impossible to do by hand for most people.3) About the size: I bought the smallest one. I dont regret it but it can cut only one onion at a time precut into four peices. If you want to cut more at a time I think a little bigger size would be helpful.4) The 500ml/470ml one contains 3 blades and not 5 as mentioned in the product description.Final verdict: Considering the low price it is worth keeping in your kitchen for those dishes which require really fine chopping.

It's really good at this price. Easy to use. Base rod which is use to handle the blade is small which make it sometime different to fit the blade and close the lid. You have to see inside to fit the lid and blade together.

It's build quality is good compared to other brands chopper, I've been using it for several years now still works the same, I've used other brands chopper but their plastic tends to break within 3 to 4 months but not this one
