What I like about this cooknserve bowl, is that it heats up quickly and uniformly. It has a flat surface that is ideal for braising meat and the bowl comes with a lid that fits beautifully, preventing steam from escaping. This last feature is ideal for long cooking time with less fluid. Ideal for making thick gravies and biryanis.

Good sturdy vessel. Enough volume to cook biryani for 6-8 big eaters. easy to place seal for dum and weight can be placed above the lid. Quite heavy for hard anodised aluminium vessel. Good buy. Only complaint is that the handles and lid top for my 6 Lt vessel are small. I can get 2 fingers into the handle slot and the lid top doesn't have enough grip to pull conveniently. Still I would rate this vessel high.
