Thus simply kill Borosil's brand value. The infuser cannot be used for Tea Dust or Leaf Tea. The infuser is just good for some cinnamon sticks or whole cardamom or tea bag. It is with much bigger slits than the mesh that filters tea dust / leaf. Also the infuser / stainer and cap is made with low quality plastic, without proper finishing we expecting from other Borosil product lineup. Handle also not good or strong to bear the weight of the liquid + the glass jar. The stainer / infuser is attached to the lid, and it is very easy to fall down. Overall very much dissatisfied purchase of a Borosil product in my lifetime.

In order to fill, you have to remove the entire strainer and lid. When you pour, the strainer doesn't work so tea leaves come pouring through.Terrible design for brewing tea.
