Do not buy this idli utensil at all. Stainless steel utensils usually last for decades. But this is so bad in quality that it got cracks only within six months of use.

Though the product is easy to clean and use, the bottom plate cannot be alinged properly as the hole is not properly drilled. I thought pigeon is a good company but the last 3 products I purchased had similar manufacturing defects. The frying pan was received with a broken handle, the infrared cook top was received with a malfunction temperature control knob and this one with a misaligned plate. Got it replaced through Amazone return policy but the quality control is very bad.
