The piece I received has manufacturing defects. The central rod which supports the Idli trays is tilted to one side. Idli batter tends flow and collect on the lower end. Worse the product was not carefully finished at the manufacturing stage. There are rough metal inside the pot where soldering was done. One of them actually scraped my hand while cleaning and caused an injury leaving a bleeding scratch. Very disappointed. PBM

Pigeon being a good brand I bought this but when I opened the box one bolt was missing and the screw for one plate fixing was not there .... and also all the remaining screws were not packed in one place I had to search the box and collect them.... the company has to look into these small small things otherwise the product is good...

Pigeon company product is not as reliable they used to be before. This is the 2nd time. I burnt my hand as the hot plates fell due to screw on top doesn’t lock well. The stand cannot take the weight of idlis. Sadly, I cannot return it because my maid already threw the box. Please be careful while buying Pigeon product. Not worth it!!
