I bought this pan primarily for cooking fried eggs and egg white omelettes and this pan does it's job really well. It's thick, slightly heavy and looks sturdy. Also, another reason why I chose this pan is that it comes with a lid which allows you to cook the fried eggs nicely without having to flip them. It requires very little oil and once the eggs are cooked, it doesn't even need a spatula. You can just tilt the pan and the eggs will slide out easily. I don't use this pan for whole egg omelettes since my stainless steel pan does that job really well but for fried eggs or egg white omelettes, I need to be very careful with the temperature and timing to get it right and not stick. This non stick pan makes that task really easy. I avoided non stick cookware for a couple of years but after checking many online resources, I am convinced that if used thoughtfully, non stick cookware is not really harmful and it is so convenient. It's not long lasting like stainless steel or cast iron but it's not super expensive so I can buy a new one every couple of years or so. The amount of convenience it gives outweighs the lack of longevity of the product. I'll be happy even if this pan lasts for a year. I am using it carefully so I think that should not be a problem but let's see

I am writing this review after using it for 1 month regularly. This is one of the best fry pan you would get Under 800 rupees with top notch quality. I even use metal spoon or spatula in this pan. It doesn't affect the pan in any way. In 20cm pan, food can be cooked for 2 persons easily. Good for bachelors and small family. If you are a big family please go for big pan in this brand. I would definitely recommend this pan to all.

Specially purchased for cooking eggs, which we do not have daily. In two years, the pan nonstick coating or material has worn out, eggs sticking, even other food in spite of extra greasing or oil, which shows that this pan does not last! You'll probably be purchasing a discard. We are now forced to look for another nonstick pan due to the need of omelette lovers in our space.

I'm gonna cut to the chase & say that this is a great product from hawkins.Next for details,First, the non-stick coating feels premium, sturdy and better than that of prestige's "granite" coating, if that makes sense.Second, the handle also is stiffly attached without any movement, which i appreciate.Third, the pan is suitable for omelette and small fryings, and it is a bit smaller than what I expected. I expected the bottom of the pan to be 22cm, but its actually the top- the wider part of the pan.All that are impressions from first five or so uses.Will update later with issues if they come up.
