Disadvantages

There where some scratches in the Tawa. I am not able to return the product as well. I feel like cheated after getting this item

A sturdy base,size is good enough n bigger than expected.Reduced a star for packaging as it wld have been better if bubble wrapping was used.Happy that I got it for 2.7K

Liked it better after it arrived. The lid does fit loose but it's manageable the cast iron bottom is not very smooth though. I do like a bit of rough as over time it tells you how much you used it and worked on the cast iron piece, but this is an expensive one so I was thinking they could have polished it off a bit more for that smooth finish. The one star off is just for not smoothening the inside at the least. But rest assured this is good Made in China piece

The tagine is of a good size and is very sturdy with even distribution of heat. And the red lid funnels the steam into whatever is cooking underneath. Looks great on the table too!!

I had been on the lookout for a cloche or a tagine for baking, because I had read somewhere that it turns out really good looking rustic bread or even sourdough bread. Finally found it on amazon. Grabbed it as soon as I could. The pictures show an excellent bake. It is quite big. It can take a bigger loaf. That will be my next bake with this implement. The cast iron bottom and the ceramic top work well. The cast iron bottom does not look as shiny as a Lodge cast iron pan, but it serves the purpose, I guess.
