These are translucent bags hence you know what is packed is inside yet won't see the dirt etc. The bags are waterproofed and hence no staying of cloths kept along with the bags. We not only used to pack shoes, but also wet cloths from seabeach. Works perfectly. One star less as the stitching is not that good and seems won't last too long. As of now, after a week long trip, they are still intact.
