The G12 nail colour is a 'go with all colour' since this looks good as a top coat with practically all nail colours and adds a little spark to your matte nail colours or gives a fresh look to 2-3 days old painted nails. This lasts for a good 3-4 days if you're not into household work after which the shimmery particles start chipping off. Since it contains a lot of shimmer unlike the cheap translucent nail paint with shimmer, a thin single coat is enough to provide enough glitter to your nails. Haven't tried this without a base coat but I'm sure it would look gorgeous even then. The only point to note is that you have to be careful while drying since if you smudge it by mistake, the base coat also wears off slightly.
