Was looking for a retinol based night cream for my mum and did not want a serious retinol product as my mom spends lot of time in the sun and she isn't religious about sunscreen and I didn't want her to have sensitivity issues. This product does not create any sensitivity to the sun and is quite mild and affordable compared to other brands. She uses broad spectrum sunscreen with spf 15 in the morning. I would advise sunscreen to people using products that are retinol based even if you are using it only at night.Update - my mom has been using this for half a year now and I can see a drastic change in her skin. She used to be a person who never took care of her skin and it was so dull and tanned from all the sun damage. Now her skin glows and I am very happy to see that too. She uses spf 50 all day at my insistence and the results are proof that she's doing it right. I am very very unhappy about only one thing and that is the non cruelty free status of L'Oréal. I personally never buy anything from them anymore and I for the same reason will never use it myself.
