I have purchased this as a gift for a fair person. She wanted this, as black eyeliner and black mascara made her appearance harsh or bit austere. So she had opted for this color and I must say she's very happy This looks great on wheatish to fair skinned women and gives a softer apperence and less 'done up' or 'dolled up ' look on their face.

Great product

Advantages
Not an amazing product but worth it for the price. It is not smudge-proof and definitely wears off after 2-3 hours, so people who sweat more or have oily skin will have it difficult for them. I personally get headaches wearing any eyeliner or kajal and this was no exception. Overall I'd say you can take it if you are bored of the same old black liner.

A very black very matte formula which does not smudge but it's not at all waterproof. Keep that in mind. Overall a great eyeliner and a very fine and sharp tip perfect for winged eye liner.

This liner is truly magical and so beautiful. I’ve tried many blue, glittery blue, liquid liners and not one of them has the same popping and bright vibrancy like this one. It's so easy to Use just paint on a line near your lash line, wait for it to dry, and paint on another. Every single person in your life will compliment your eyes while you’re wearing this. And also this is ultra cheap and super affordable. I am in love with this product. Must a buy.

This is THE eyeliner, people. I’ve been a religious cat-liner wearer for the past nine years or so of my life, and I refuse to try any of the new, fancy shmancy ‘felt’ or ‘ink’ liners that have swept the liner world. This is the LBD of eyeliners. This is a classic, affordable, excellent formula that has stood the test of time, and will continue to do so. No matter what your preferred liner style-whether classic cat-eye or a slim black line-the liner brush can do it easily.Yes, it does take half a minute or so to dry, but the trick is to not layer the liner on your lid, but to use thin strokes. I’ve worn this liner while in the rain, in the gym, while crying after reading about the death of Fred Weasley, and this damn liner doesn’t budge, ladies. Honestly, my relationship with this liner has been more reliable and enjoyable and meaningful than any romantic relationship I’ve ever been in.I’ll continue to buy and wear this liner till the day I die, or till it’s discontinued, whichever’s first.Seriously. Buy this liner, you’ll cry tears of joy when you discover how beautiful and smudge-free the formula is. And when you do, the darn thing will still be on your eyelid.

I am a fan of the black lakme liner which comes in the same packaging as this one.So I went ahead and bought it too. What I love:Affordable:You get such a good quantity in just ₹100 which is amazing.Emerald green color:It is not that tacky green or parrot green but very pretty emerald green color.Longetivity:It actually stays for all day long unless ofcourse you rub your eyes or cry or get wet in rain.Felt tip liner:One good thing about these liner is their brush which helps you get the perfect wing( if you are a fan of winged liner like me)Water resistent:No, it is not water resistant and will get wiped of once you get in touch woth water. Also, I feel its a great buy specially when you compare the prices with other brands emerald or generally green eyeliners, the starting range of which is around 400-500, because it does its job well.

This one has been around for so long it could be soon considered vintage. My mum tells me that this was the best and also the only available eye liner in their heydays in the 70s. One of my Malayali friend used to use this instead of kajal when we were in the 6th grade (mid 90s). Back then, I had no idea what it was, but that was a pretty swell idea to avoid kajal smudge and raccoon eyes given we were in a coastal city - warm and humid.I bought my first eye liner for farewell party in 2000 and at that time this product was bomb! Or so I thought. The formulation was good and so was the brush. It was thin just like it is in their current product profile. I used to practice wearing it so much after the Miss India craze. All our three Miss india's won their respective Int'l pageant that year. It used to give a thin, precise stroke and almost look like tightline effect. I would also practice the cat eye and build up on the thickness of the line. It was so versatile!Soon, around 2005ish, it started getting much watery in consistency. Around 2007 ish I feel, the formulation hit rock bottom. It was very watery and just very bad. Lakme had also come up with new but pricey eyeliners around the same time which were way better, so I loyally shifted to them.Recently, when I was about to blog about the best eyeliners available in India, I thought I had to give this one some mention. After all, it is the longest running eyeliner in India. So, I bought a new bottle and tried and tested it out. The formulation now is much better. It is thicker, and more pigmented. The bottle is the same, but what the heck happened to the brush? It makes my bad hair day look good. Seriously, it puts the wonderful eyeliner to shame. Nonetheless, if you can use an alternate brush like camlin 00, or like i use an angled vega brush, you can still work with the product. I would have justified it as good for practising because it is not just a fat brush, and fat lines look amazing on large eyes, but it is uneven so it just defeats the purpose. Mostly, beginners would like to start with a thin line and when they are confident, start to build up the thickness, so I would not recommend this in that way.Coming to its wearability, it takes longer to completely dry and you just have to keep your eyes closed or look down for 1 - 2 minutes to let it dry. It looks super glossy while it is still wet, but dries matte. It lasts up to say 6 - 8 hours in fair conditions. Like I wore this to office and it stayed out for 4 - 6 hours and then on it just started to fade slowly. I was back home after 10 hours and it didn't peel but looked uneven or maybe it was me looking tired. I have large eyes, so the thick line worked ok. So, all in all, it is not a trashy product. Given its price, it is actually good, forsaking the brush. If you are lucky, you get a good brush, if not, a bad one. One of the reviewers submitted a picture of how her brush looks. I have to say, it is the worst that I have seen. The one i have is uneven, but not so bad.If only Lakme could devote a little bit more attention to the brush, it would revive its lost glory.
