IF YOU'RE A FIRST TIME USER, READ ON! Alright, so I read a lot of positive reviews and a few dreadful ones, and at the end I decided to give it a try. So the thing is, I am 25 years old and I am a virgin and I have never used tampons, meaning my vaginal canal is on the tighter side. So yesterday when my cup arrived, I washed it with soap and water and tried inserting it. I knew the C fold would not work for me so I did a punchdown fold and tried to insert it. When the cup was about 2 cms in (the rest was still in my hand) it started hurting. I had read in a lot of instruction manuals and medical blogs that if it hurts, stop, relax and try again later. So I gave it up for the time. Today, I tried again in the shower, this time inserting a finger first to feel out the cervix so I could figure out how deep inside it needs to go. Again, punchdown fold, insert, and then it started hurting. I started to feel that maybe I should get a smaller cup. In all honesty, I was afraid that I would hurt myself if the cup popped open halfway through the insertion. Five minutes ago, after having watched a few more videos on YouTube to make sure I was doing everything right, I decided to give it another try because I still believed in the product. This time I took it more slowly and tried to think of other things so I wouldn't tense up. After a few minutes of just using my fingers to relax it, my vagina felt a lot more relaxed so I did the punchdown fold, and it literally just slid in. Then, grabbing it by the stem, I gave it a twist. For good measure, I inserted my finger and felt around the base to make sure the cup was fully open. And voila! I am never going back to using pads because they are expensive, they are bad for the environment, and they give me rashes that take forever to heal. Don't go by the reviews that say it's difficult to pull out. You need to pinch (or insert a finger and slightly press the side of the cup) and break the seal before you pull it out or you're going to hurt yourself, because the vacuum will work against you. Read the instructions carefully before using it, instead of blaming the brand. I was very sceptical before buying it and now I love it.

I've heard about menstrual cup in social media ....and I've researched on many videos of qualified doctors, gynecologists ........And I came to know that if I use this then it will surely be a life changer....So with excitement I bought a menstrual cup of a particular brand and tried....but it was not meant for me as it causes pain after insertion and there was leakage ....i could feel it inside ...I was very disappointed ....then i researched how it works . And I came to know that the problem was size ..i ordered small size . And then i ordered pee safe extra small even though I am 19 years old. I've tried it out .. its result came out amazingly....it was easy to insert as compared to previous one. I can't even feel it inside. ........I've seen in many vedios that a pop sound will be heard but for me it was a feeling of sudden crawl ( painless) . Thanks to pee safe for this extra small one ...
