It takes a while to learn how to use the machine but once you do it's helpful.I suggest learning how to use from YouTube.I recommend using it once a week or once every two weeks

----Writing this review after using 5 years of "Aviva" product and 7 months of "Active"----Good customer chat support to perform minor troubleshoots. (Didn't need to visit their service centers yet in my 5 years of usage, that says a lotabout the quality of their products)Accurate reading closer to the laboraty based result.And biggest pro is 10 years of warranty on Meters, which is huge. No have this warranty, keep the receipt and register your machine in their website.Only cons: Dropping blood on strip (Active strips) is inconvenient.In this matter I will say, go with "Aviva". Aviva is tiny-bit expensive but easy to perform the tests (it uses the capillary pressure method) and better accuracy than Active (in very tiny margins)Also, I am still using Aviva and it is running strong even after 5 years of purchase.So hoping "Active" will also run similarly long period.

We recently bought this product after seeing good reviews here. But unfortunately, we are not at all satisfied with the result. It consistently shows under estimated diabetes measurements. Initially we repeated several times and we were surprised to see less diabetes value. Then we consulted with our physician and she recommended to test again from laboratory. As we did blood test from a reputed laboratory, the values were quite high (almost double) as compared to what showed by this product. We still repeated the test on the same day at home, but again it showed underestimated value. It means the product is not a well calibrated machine and should be avoided by diabetic patients.

This is an updated review sine last time the strips were not working. Realized something was not letting the strip get inserted completely. Clearing the path makes it work fine.Need to test few times to confirm the accuracy but I believe it works well.I will update on the test results after a month

I didnt buy it on Silkrute but tried to use this product for 6 months - hardly used for 2-3 times. Worst product - after 6 months error in reading all the time - changed battery, changed strips no use...it was pure waste of money - and now a days labs sending people for home sample collection - so realized that is better option than wasting money on this - So if you are in metro city and home sample collection is possible - dont waste your money on this brand
