This bottle advertises itself as vegan, but that is only because it does not contain any animal products. Loreal tests this product on animals, making it not cruelty free; therefore making it not a vegan product. I used this product for almost 3 months before I learned that it is not actually vegan. I was really disappointed, because it does make my hair really soft, moisturized, and shiny, but I just can't support a company that tests on animals.I have since switched to "Love Beauty and Planet", the coconut water and mimosa flower one, and it is even better! I feel so much better knowing I'm using not only a product with no animal products, but also one that doesn't test on innocent animals.

I buy these all the time and this is the second time I got shampoo instead of conditioner. The stickers on back say conditioner but it’s shampoo. Conditioner costs more as well (not much). More of a pain to return then it’s worth. But need to start checking these. Also not wrapped like they used to be and one was opened and a third of it squeezed out by the heavier items in box.

The product had broken lid and wasn't full, they are letting me return it and they have already replaced it but the option I chose was the scan code and when it was redelivered the UPS guy didn't take the package back.. They don't have the scan machine in my area so I need to return it the other way with a label... I tried everything to try to change how it is returned and even looked for this issue thru help.. writing this is my only option at this point

I have used L'oreal Paris EverPure Sulfate Free Moisture Conditioner along with the shampoo for years. It leaves my hair softer than many of the more expensive conditioners that I have tried. If you Google "best shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair", most of the results are very positive. I have yet to find a negative assessment of these. I am 63 and, as I get older, I notice that my hair is more prone to dryness. This may be partially due to using hair color, since I never dyed my hair until I noticed a few gray hairs in my late 40s. :-) I also love that it has no parabens or sulfates as I've read that they are bad for hair. I will continue to use this product and definitely recommend it.

Honestly, the shampoo is fine - for not having sulfates, it lathers the nicely and gets colored hair clean. The problem is the bottle! This is a fairly thick shampoo, so it requires squeezing to get it out. But the bottle is so flimsy, that's hard to do. Because of the shape, you can't really get air into the tube and use air pressure to get it out - so I wind up having to bend the tube in half just to get some shampoo. My bottle has stress marks in the plastic because it's clearly not meant to be folded in half, but I can't figure out how else to wash my hair. They need to test this over a few weeks to realize how frustrating it is, especially when there's only half left. I won't buy this kind againn
