I have been taking this protein powder for the past two years (every day). When I received my full body report in December of last year, I was informed that there was damage to my liver and that there were enzymes seeping into my blood. While this was concerning, I chose to ignore it. When I received my full body report again in October of this year, I discovered an even more serious problem. I was diagnosed with grade 1 fatty liver at the Medicare hospital! (Please note that I only occasionally drink a small amount). I am not sure what this protein contains, but I most definitely would not advise consuming it. I discovered through my online research and survey at the gym that athletes only get the protein they need from their diet and do not take supplements. (Those who compete in body building and those who are weak and have doctors recommend supplements are the two groups of people who need them.) In my opinion, the only way to maintain a balanced lifestyle is to try to get as much protein as possible through diet. My body is your only home, and I will not be getting another one, I discovered the hard way.

As someone who drinks a protein shake almost everyday, I decided to buy one that doesn’t have any additives (including emulsifiers, stabilizers, maltodextrin, etc.) because I wanted to cut down on ultra-processed foods that are harmful to my body in the long run. After a thorough research, I decided to buy this particular whey protein. Coming from flavoured whey proteins, I found the taste of this a bit weird at first, but over time, I have gotten acquired to it. Mixability is decent, but I can’t expect more for this price; I just use a blender now instead of a shaker.

It's not suited for everyones gut. Initially was quite good but later on started causing horrible bloating episodes and very nasty vomiting within a month of use. Can't be sure whether it was due to contamination of product or poor storage at my end, hence the three stars. Taste was bland and it was even quite palatable with water.
