My first impression was good. The top layer of saffron threads in the pack were all great, with good aroma, colour as expected. It used to take several seconds for the threads to get the water coloured. However, the vendor is putting in substandard quality saffron threads halfway onwards in the packing. As soon as you put the lower threads in water, they lose colour. The flavour, aroma is weak, not comparable to the ones for the top threads in the container.

Nice product. It gives the colour if we use it as described but it has no strong smell. Price is also reasonable INR 385 for 2Gms.
