Advantages

I received it yesterday and was excited to receive the certified organic tumeric and when I went to give it the water test 60% of a teaspoon sank to the bottom after 20 minutes, the rest floated on the top and all of the water turned dark brown. Is tumeric supposed to turn water dark brown? It doesn't seem pure to me. I thought the water was supposed to be clear!? But I can smell the herbal scent from the tumeric. Could it be because the tumeric tested my faucet water and is telling me I live in an area with poor water quality? Or should I just wonder what else is in it?
