It is the worst powder of any kind I have ever used. Too much cinnamon. But it might not be to do with Urban Platter but withtl the Indian palate for this powder

I used this to make fried rice. Many recipes mentioned five spice powder is a great substitute just in-case specially made fried rice masala is not available in supermarkets. But it turned to be a very bad recipe. Bitter taste & bitter flavor. Combinations may be wrong. I heard many good points about five spice powder, but was very much disappointed by this. In my opinion it may be not a real chinese five spice powder.
