We started in 2016 with a goal to promote authentic Kozhikode snacks around the world. The brand is the brainchild of four young men who carried the dream since they were college students. The passion for building a brand around the best traditions of Kozhikode cuisine led them to the formation of Flavours of Calicut. It's our aim to satisfy the nostalgic drive for homemade snacks of Malayalis all over the world. At the same time, we also realise that Kozhikode snacks have a more extensive interest base among non-Malayalis. May it be the many varieties of chips, halwa or pickle, we have all of them covered.

First thing I liked about this product is freshness. The aroma of coconut oil was great but one thing that bothered me is the very less amount of salt it makes the chips have less flavour.

Received it after 7 days of order. Taste is very good. But weight is less than what is mentioned on the app, mentioned 400gm, actual weight received 393gms, weight printed on the the received packet is 500gms. Why there is mismatch on all three? I have ordered again after a month now, and happy to see the change in quantity, it's more than 400 gms and also taste is good.

The packing sent by the seller was nice and the banana chips arrived in good condition. But the only point on which I rated it on 4 stars was that some pieces were overburnt/overfried and coconut oil used for frying seemed to have been the reused one and the freshness of fresh coconut oil was lacking. I would not call it as "excellent banana chips",although the taste was good. I have tasted the KINGS BITE KERALA BANANA CHIPS and they were excellent and taste was heavenly since they were so crispy and coconut oil used was fresh.

Excellent, so fresh and crispy! Feels like I went to Kerala and bought it from the chips kada directly. My 4 year old also thoroughly enjoyed eating it. He was longing for this for so long and finally I am happy with the product being available online even when you are not living in Kerala. Keep up the good work!

These chips are no doubt good to taste but very few are whole and big in size unlike in the photos shown on Amazon.Kumari banana chips from calicut are the best.Amazon should arrange to deliver kumari chips also on request. I have emptied all the 400gms in the bowl.As you can see nearly 50% of the chips are in crumbles.

I am a repeat buyer. The quality was very good, the first time i ordered. Reminded me of the chips I used to buy from M Vasudevan shop in Calicut. I was very happy and ordered again. However, the second time the chips werent as good. I believe the first time i ordered, the bananas used were country bananas but not so the second time, hence the 3 star rating They need to maintain consistent quality
