Every time we cooked some South-Indian dish in our home such as dosa, idli, uttapam, we always craved the chutneys. Homemade chutney is very difficult to make plus very difficult to achieve the best taste. Found this product on Silkrute. Delicious, spicy, fresh chutney made just by adding water. Everyone in the family liked it very much. You can vary water consistency as it suits you. If you like more solid chutney, put less water. This chutney has made our South-Indian meals much tastier. This one is more species than its simple 'Cocunut Chutney' counterpart (also by Urban Platter). The only downside I guess is the price. The price is high for the quantity. Could have been a little lower. All in all, a must-try!
