Soft, succulent & good quantity. The protein to carb ratio is better than that of lentils so it's a better protein source for those trying to lose weight. It cooks through well, though I would suggest marination if it's going to be made in bigger pieces (as chaap generally is). The taste of course depends on the recipe & spices used, but I loved it. Will definitely be buying again!Also, would recommend it whether you're vegan, vegetarian or non-vegetarian!
