I use milk thistle every day for me and my 6 dogs. I have tried several brands, and so far this is the best product for the price. There are a few good brands out there, but they are a bit more expensive. A lot of brands have a lot of dust and debris in them, but this product didn't have all that. You can buy the capsules, but it is more expensive to do it that way, and they can add fillers without you knowing. This is food grade quality whole seeds. I put it in the spice grinder and make a powder, and then I add it to my morning smoothie, and I mix it in my dogs' food. I store it in a spice box with my other spices and use it every day. It doesn't have any taste, so it doesn't leave a weird taste. And it is a gentle detox, so it doesn't cause discomfort or side effects. I give it to my dogs because it is a mild detox for their liver from all the vaccines, flea meds, worm meds, etc. Keeps them healthy! In fact the vet just checked my dogs, and he said they are very healthy and very active even though they are getting older. So these little things help! I take it myself for the same reason to gently detox my liver of toxins without any discomfort or side effects. So overall, this is the best product at the best price.
