Advantages
I purchased this item because it was Amazon's Choice . Though , after using it , I found that the product is inherently inappropriate . his product is made of Aluminum Alloy and , therefore , light in weight and cost . But , due to the Aluminium , the teeth of the Cracker have to be necessarily large and blunt . This causes some damage to the walnut inside . Now , I cannot say that the teeth need to be a bit sharp because the basic metal (Aluminium) may not allow for it . But , if that is possible , then this Walnut Cracker can well become a choice of user's as well .

Works well with hard shelled walnuts and hard shelled pecan nuts. However, no clasp to hold both prongs together - instead we have been given an elastic band. Surely this is a simple design flaw to rectify? Doesn't affect usage- only storage.
