Although Pomace Oil is often derided for being a lower quality olive oil, bereft of the smell typically associated with extra virgin olive oil. I found the neutral smell of Disano to be perfect for Indian cooking. The price also makes it apt for everyday use.Additionally, since it doesn't have a strong smell, pomace oil is perfect as a body oil/ massage oil, especially if you have dry skin during winters.Overall, its a wonderful product at an affordable price. However, its not suitable for Italian cooking as it doesn't impart the same flavour to the food as Extra virgin olive oil does.

Olive pomace oil is the solvent extracted olive oil after the food grade oils are taken. It is of a very low grade and will be very cheap. It should be used for cleaning products rather than for cooking and consumption.The question is not as to whether one should buy Olive Pomace Oil as opposed to Extra Virgin Olive Oil, but is whether one should buy Olive Pomace Oil as opposed to Groundnut, Palm Oil or Sunflower oil. Here, the answer is definitely: Yes. In fact, because it is a monounsaturated fat, it is a better choice for cooking than other seed oils like Canola, Peanut, Groundnut, Palm Oil or Sunflower oil. Pomace oil still retains olive oil's basic lipid profile and therefore boasts high levels of oleanolic acid which has been proven to relieve states of hypertension and high blood pressure.

As a product, it is what I ordered, and Amazon delivered problem free. Thank you!After reading more about olive oil, though, I found out that olive pomace oil is produced by using solvents on the olive press remainders. That means this oil does not have all the health benefits of virgin olive oil. In that, I'm disappointed. But that's just me. The pomace oil is preferred by those who don't like the taste of olive oil, which can be an acquired taste. If you need a 'starter' olive oil to transition off of sunflower oil, then use this. Then get to virgin/ extra virgin olive oil.

Pomace oil is a good transition from unhealthy oils to olive oil... but use it temporarily.

There are 2 variants of this same product on the website , the cheaper one has a manufacturing date which is earlier than the higher priced one, I bought the cheaper one, the product is undoubtedly good.

Decent quality oil at a good price on lightning deal. Just a bit is good enough for sautés and frying parathas. Light and easy on the tummy. I'd say the quality is a notch lower than brands like Leonardo and Figaro but better than Del Monte

I love this product! Have been through 5 bottles of it already. The best part of this olive pomace combination is that you can use for cooking normal everyday Indian food and light fries. There is no after taste and smell and you're cutting out on a lot of impurities and bad agenrs found in other oils. This is also good for stewing and light roasting and can be used in salads as a dressing oil as well. I've used this from ages and I will keep repurchasing it. Value for money and health on point!

Surely i have received duplicate oil as I have almost used more than 10 liters of same brand ..brought online from others .First time I bought thru amazon... never had such badamell immediately after heating up.also oil was found darker in colour than earlier one used. Taste also not good.Definitely there is some thing wrong and there is no return option other than feedback is sad .

I started to use olive oil as it can support digestion, weight loss, and health. We tried many brands like Solimo, Del Monte, Leonardo, etc. As the price is a little lesser, I thought of giving it a try and ordered. However, my family members didn't believe it as olive oil as the colour of this oil doesn't look like that of olive and were skeptical until the oil gets finished. Not liked much. Other brands I tried (Solimo, Del Monte, Leonardo, etc) are good, of course.
