Excellent product. Gives a wonderful umami taste to anything you add it to. Healthy for b12 vitamin on top of that! Just a little goes a long way. Just remember that it is fortified with additional b12, not entirely natural. But I'm happy with this. My favourite additive for taste and health.

I finally went ahead and got myself the "vegan," alternative to cheese powder, only to be disappointed. It's not bad but the flavour is super subtle and you won't detect the flavour at all in dishes like Ramen or sandwiches unless you are using a couple of tablespoons at least.

The seller specifically writes that the product has been fortified, they only write that it's not GMO. They cannot be hold accountable for people's reading skills, or lack thereof. Taste is more nutty than cheesy and adds a nice flavour to dishes. As it's a fairly large quantity, it will last for quite a while.

Flavour is good, and nutritional yeast is rich in B Vitamins and protein for those who are deficient and/or vegan/vegetarian. My only qualm is that 100g is quite less for the price.

I wouldn't go as far to call it a substitute for cheese.Coz it's clearly not.It's a mildly flavoured cheesy powder that can be sprinkled over a sandwich, popcorn or fries.If you put it in a smoothie or soup the flavour is way too mild to be discernible.I tried it over pizza and pasta and certainly did enhance the flavour profile.However the pizza and pasta already had cheese in it.It's exorbitant for the quantity received.But it's still good quality nutritional yeast and would keep well on the shelf for atleast a year.

Good quality Nutritional Yeast Flakes. Good things: Nice umami taste Not so good: Price is a bit too expensive for what it is - I bought it for Rs. 780.00! :( Overall I am happy about it and may buy it again as there's not many alternatives.
