The seller specifically writes that the product has been fortified, they only write that it's not GMO. They cannot be hold accountable for people's reading skills, or lack thereof. Taste is more nutty than cheesy and adds a nice flavour to dishes. As it's a fairly large quantity, it will last for quite a while.

This is the first time in my life that I have tried nutritional yeast. I must say that I am very pleased with my trial. It has a very nice nutty, cheesy and very slightly salty taste/flavour. When used in cooking, it loses its flavour. It is actually meant to be used stand alone as a sprinkler for salad, fruits, and other toppings. For the size - 100 gms, I have found it to be expensive. But then this is Urban Platter. They always produce quality products. So, consider it a luxury and spoil yourself.
